Top not overcrowded everything was very nice, we had a lot of fun with the grandchildren and the children ... and they felt really great too. The presence of the police was there because of overcrowding but it wasn't just great

The food is okay so far. But you have the feeling that many things are just being warmed up. Unfortunately, I cannot say for sure whether this is actually the case. On our last visit, the waiter passed his tray on us. Mistakes can happen - no problem. However, I would have hoped for more here than "If you have something cleaned, send us the bill". Apart from the fact that the bill has not been paid for weeks, I would have hoped that at least one round of drinks would be on the house or that the drinks would be removed from the bill. Here you unfortunately notice, as in other restaurants of this company, that usually only one person is trained in dealing with customers, and the waiters who are in service are temporary workers. Unfortunately, you notice this very often. At these prices, I would hope for more.

Nice, quaintly made excursion restaurant, with fast, good service. Wonderful view of parts of the Saarland. In the summer more frequent outdoor events, you should go there

Very nice big hut on the Schaumburg. Very good food. The house's own potato dumplings with minced meat filling and sauerkraut tastes great. With nice weather also with an outside terrace. Steep driveway. Unfortunately, there is no parking space in front of the hut. Good view from the top.

It's just very nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and what I expect for such a location, accurate and hearty. And if the portions are too big, men / women just wander around and then drink an espresso or a beer in the great beer garden with this great view! ?

Very rustic, actually reminds (at least in the outside area) of a tourist hut. Certainly well suited as a destination. As a regular pub rather less. But it's a matter of taste. By the way, food is delicious!

Were already with the predecessors. The SCHAUMBERG ALM has improved even more under new management. Cozy seating created with lots of wood. Service very friendly. What is unfortunately not so good was the GFILLDE DUMPLINGS with sauerkraut. The filling was delicious. Sauerkraut could be cooked longer. And the white sauce was unfortunately with lumps. Certainly better. But when we make the next trip to Saarland, we'll come by again. Maybe then we'll just eat something different !!

Nice restaurant at a great vantage point, the beer garden is large and nicely laid out. The food, like the Almbier, was very good, the portions (roast young pork) enormous.

Nice place and great view! Nice beer garden and large playground. With the car you get very close and you have to go up a small steep hill. In exceptional cases, you can safely go very high. The location is unfortunately paid for by higher prices, but it is worth a visit. Schnitzel was ok but nothing special and costs the usual price. Self-service, card payment possible. Tip: come before 4 p.m. and go to the tower (1 euro). The view is even better there.

Sausage with french fries 8 € 50. 0.33l shandy € 3. Even if some think that is normal. No, not for me. Beverage dispensing staff not trained in dealing with customers. Conclusion: nice place but no thanks.

Always my pleasure. This is our third time here. Those who love the alpine atmosphere get a lot for their money here. The price / performance ratio is right and the quality is absolutely reliable, always good to very good. In addition, there is a wonderfully beautiful view and it is even free.

Nice beer garden. The gastronomy of course has an alpine touch. Operation speaks of course with a Saarland accent ?. The menu is kept simple but includes everything you need.

Great location with a great view. Lots of places, nice staff and normal prices. A visit is worthwhile as there is more to do on the Schaumberg.

Nice restaurant with great ambience, taste and service.

It had been raining just prior to taking these pictures, but on a clear sunny day it is beautiful! Also, on this visit I had 1 tall and 1 short beer which totalled €6. I would say that is a good price considering the landscape you get to admire while drinking/dining. I am definitely coming here again.
